For an affirmative economic analysis of discrimination

This article proposes to address the progress of the economic analysis of discrimination, based on the existence of tastes for discrimination or discriminatory beliefs, and its deficiencies thought the Arrow’s approach. Some theoretical extensions, able to explain why discrimination can be a persisting phenomenon, will then be outline. This development will draw up some political applications by justifying affirmative actions.
